NOTICE OF PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE AND WORKSHOP FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF ARMOUR OFFICIAL PLAN UPDATE

The Township of Armour is looking for your input, feedback and ideas at a Public Open House and Workshop Session for the Official Plan Update. The session is scheduled for Saturday September 3rd , 2005 10am - Noon at the Katrine Community Centre.

This is your opportunity to participate in shaping the future of your community! The Public Open House is intended to provide an informal opportunity for the public to review the work completed to date, ask questions and provide feedback. A questionnaire will be distributed.

The session will begin with a brief presentation by the Township's Planning Consultant to introduce the project, outline the Official Plan Update program and identify future steps, issues and considerations. Some preliminary plots of the new Geographic Information System will also be on display. An informal question and answer period will be held after the presentation to allow participants to provide input, ask questions and receive answers.

This is the first of a series of opportunities for the public to provide input into the future planning for the Township. The purpose of this Open House is to provide the community with preliminary information about the project and planning process, issues identified to date, and an opportunity to provide input on the future direction of the Plan.
