Richard’s Health Update

As of Monday, January 16, Richard was scheduled to undergo an operation on his pelvis. It was the third time that the operation had been scheduled, as the previous two were bumped when the operating room was needed for other procedures. If the pelvic operation is successful, Richard will then undergo surgery on his spine.

He is currently on the road to recovery, but is immobile and in pain. He is unable to speak, but does shake his head and move his arm to communicate.

His amazing will and strength have enabled him to survive the major injuries he suffered in the December accident.

His wife Jenny thanks everyone for the prayers and cards of best wishes. She notes there are so many it is very difficult to answer them.
